PJU card sleeves, toploaders & semi-rigid holders for collectors who sleeve first

Every card we protect follows the same order: a soft sleeve against the surface, then a rigid or semi-rigid shell against the world. We make both halves of that routine — 3×4 toploaders, grading-ready semi-rigids and 35pt magnetic holders — in counts from 30 to 2,000.

  • Acid-free sleeves
  • 35pt standard fit
  • Packs from 30 to 2,000

Why collectors sleeve first with PJU

From the pack to the mailbox, the right sleeve-and-shell pairing stops scuffs, soft corners and surface scratches without hiding the card.

Collector-focused features that protect what matters

Good protection is not one sleeve. It is a small system: clean insertion, stable edges, a clear view.

Protection system

Two-step protection that takes ten seconds

Soft sleeve, then shell. It sounds fussy until you see what a single raw slide into a hard plastic loader does to the edges of a chrome card. The double layer is the cheapest insurance in the hobby.

  • No surface contact with rigid plastic
  • Corners stay square in the mail
  • The card slides out the same way it went in

One size for every standard card

Baseball, football, hockey, Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, K-pop photocards: if it is 2.5" x 3.5" and 35pt, it lives in the same 3" x 4" shell. One supply shelf covers the whole collection.

  • 3" x 4" outer, 35pt depth
  • 2.6" x 3.6" soft sleeve included
  • Same fit across every pack count

Semi-rigid when the card is going to a grader

A grading bench wants a holder that flexes. Our semi-rigids are 3 5/16" x 4 7/8", taller than a toploader, with a lip that lets the grader slide the card out without pinching a corner.

  • Sized for PSA, BGS, SGC and CSG drop-offs
  • Acid-free PVC
  • Packed with matching soft sleeves

Magnetic holders for the cards that earn a shelf

Some cards are not for a box. Our 35pt one-touch holders close with a gold magnet and stand on their own, so the rookie you pulled in 2019 can finally sit where you can see it.

  • Gold magnet two-piece closure
  • UV-coated clear shell
  • Stands upright on a shelf

The sleeve-first routine

Three layers, in this order

  1. 01

    Soft sleeve

Card face-first into a 2.6" x 3.6" soft sleeve, straight off the pack. Fingers on the edges, never the surface.

  2. 02

    Pick the shell

Toploader to store or ship, semi-rigid to submit for grading, magnetic holder to display. The sleeve stays on for the first two.

  3. 03

    Box it upright

Shells stand upright in a storage box, tight enough not to slide, loose enough not to bow. That is the whole system.

People also ask

?What is the difference between semi-rigid holders and toploaders?

A toploader is a rigid 3" x 4" shell made for storage and shipping. A semi-rigid is taller, thinner and slightly flexible, made so a grading service can slide the card out cleanly. Store and ship in toploaders, submit in semi-rigids.

?Do I need a soft sleeve inside a toploader?

Yes. That is the whole sleeve-first rule. The soft sleeve protects the surface from the rigid plastic and makes the card slide in straight. Every PJU toploader and semi-rigid set includes one sleeve per shell.

?Will PSA accept top loaders?

Grading services ask for semi-rigid holders for submissions, and many will not process cards sent in toploaders. Keep your toploaders for storage and use our semi-rigid sets for the submission itself.

?Which cards should I put in a toploader?

Anything you would be upset to see with a soft corner: rookies, numbered parallels, autos, chase cards and anything you plan to sell or trade. Base cards can live in a soft sleeve in a box.

?Are PJU sleeves acid-free?

Our soft sleeves and semi-rigid holders are acid-free, and the toploader sets are described as acid-free and anti-scratch, so they can stay on a card in long-term storage.

?Which pack size should I choose?

Count your keepers, then double it: collections grow faster than supply shelves. A single box breaker is fine with 200 pieces; sellers, set builders and dealers are better off with 1,000 or 2,000.

Trading card protection, the PJU way

PJU makes trading card sleeves and holders for collectors who handle their cards often: people opening boxes on a Friday night, sorting a set, prepping a PSA submission or packing a sale. Our range covers the three shells that matter. Hard plastic toploaders, 3" x 4" and 35pt, for storing and shipping standard cards. Semi-rigid card holders, 3 5/16" x 4 7/8", for grading submissions to PSA, BGS, SGC and CSG. And 35pt magnetic one-touch holders for display. Every toploader and semi-rigid set is packed with soft penny sleeves, 2.6" x 3.6", one for every shell.

The order matters more than the brand. A card goes into a soft sleeve first, then into its shell, never the other way around and never raw into a rigid holder. Sleeves take the scratches, shells take the bends, and a storage box keeps the shells upright. Whether you collect baseball, football, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh or K-pop photocards, the same sizes fit, which is why we sell the same holders in counts from 30 to 2,000. Buy the count that fits your pile, then keep a spare box on the shelf for the next break.
